Hey everyone... HAPPY New Year!!! Let's all make it the best year yet!

We all know what general conditions we face right now living the United States of America... and how jacked up our economy is today. But yet, we should understand that we are literally living during the most amazing time in human history, especially concerning technology and the unique online abilities we have in directly front of us at all times. So what are we actually "DOING" with these unique abilities? How are we bettering our businesses... our communications... our lives?

Today most people sit around and complain about their lives, feeling doomed. We feel that we can't make money anymore! We feel hopeless due to the lack of jobs, or the lack of pay with the jobs we can find. Well, let me tell you something. Today we live in a time of more opportunity than at any other time in U.S. history. That is a fact! We also live in a day & age where we have more abilities at our fingertips than at any other time in our history. Why are we complaining? Why are we feeling doomed... and in the same mindset  trivializing these new social media abilities? We know we can create exposures and communications to whatever we want, and wherever we want today easier than ever! I feel so frustrated with what I do ever day as I strive to help people get a grip on the fundamentals! I get professional "shoppers" and even past and existing "clients" calling me, either complaining or needing something from me, every day. But yet they don't even know why they're needing me. I realize that I have a very sought-after set of unique skills and have visionary abilities that people want... that people feel they somehow need to utilize in their businesses. But they don't even really know what to ask for when they call. Isn't that amazing? And if they're complaining about something, it seems to always be the same complaint. It's usually an issue of ROI or "Return On Investment!" I understand... I am no different when spending my hard earned money. But when someone asks me what they're paying for, due to their lack of interest, I want to hit them in the head! It's the funniest thing to me, when someone hires me to "consult & build" their business online. They usually want the "Magic Pill." They cannot seem to simply realize that they're in a whole new world in marketing behaviors and skill-sets.

Let me give you a very real and honest quick assessment of some realities I see & acknowledge . . .

1. Businesses are always going to be around... as long as we have a systemized & progressive society.

2. Creative marketing is always in the mix... no matter what we want to admit. It's a critical element in every business.

3. Business Operators/Presidents/CEO's & all other high level executives are almost always arrogant and insecure. Don't be offended by this statement. It just is what it is. The lower level, or who I refer to as the "worker ants" always need to get the jobs done at the end of the day, and usually after ducking the blows from the top as they "bust it" to keep the "process of success" afloat.

4. Business owners want the business to thrive, for much different reasons than a simple paycheck at the end of the month. These people want build their company to a certain level in hopes of proving a successful business model... 99.9% of the time with the goal to ultimately sell for as much money as they can get. Business owners always have a selfish agenda... PERIOD!

5 . Traditionally, business owners hire their marketing department, knowing very little (and usually NOTHING) about marketing and creative or developmental skill-sets. And it's critical for the business to create productive and direct call-to-action types of marketing behaviors, including the ability to implement. These very people are typically lost in today's professional world. I have found that they are usually the least educated or trained. In a very new age of strategic business development, skill-sets and behaviors, the wrong people are in charge! Arrogance kills productivity. History has always shown this to be the case. But especially in today's world of, what I call, the "ignorant arrogance" concerning the Director Levels. All the more reason to stay on top of the Social Media arena! It's called "security!"

Okay... so, what does this say to YOU? I know what it says to ME!

Take "Social Media" seriously... especially as the best way to communicate or send direct time-sensitive messaging to those looking for what you have to offer. It's a very, very simple process... but if not understood and educated as to systematic and very specific platforms, skill-sets, behaviors, implementations & maintenance... ya may as well just sit down now, and go to sleep! There is NEVER a "MAGIC PILL" that will mechanically take you all the way! NEVER!
